Diabetics are naturally sweet – a case study

 Dr Skandhan S Kumar

Nowadays we frequently come across diabetic cases in our day to day practice. Homoeopathy is considered as one of the very best alternative system of medicine for treating diabetes mellitus and its complications. Diabetic nephropathy is a progressive kidney disease caused by angiopathy of capillaries in the kidney glomeruli. It is characterized by nephrotic syndrome and diffuse glomerulosclerosis , it is due to long lasting diabetes.

Apart from routine investigations there is an investigation to diagnose the very early damage of kidney in diabetic individuals i.e the level of serum albumin (plasma protein) and reducing sugar  in the urine if present then indicates that the kidney is damaged and another most important complication is diabetic retinopathy is a most important cause for loss of vision its highly correlated with both duration of diabetes and poor blood glucose control ,it can be classified as non-proliferative and proliferative , the first signs are venous dilatation and small red dots seen on fundoscopy

Here in this case I want to demonstrate the constitutional approach to the known diabetic type 1 case with the serum albumin in urine as a parameter and also about the efficacy of homoeopathy on treating the naturally sweet individual with the naturally sweet pills.
