BHOPAL: After online counselling for MBBS admissions, the same is being replicated for those seeking admission to AYUSH courses in Madhya Pradesh.  .

Counselling for admissions on vacant seats will be held at the government-level after the first and second phase counselling in government and private AYUSH colleges under the AYUSH department, according to a press release.

State minister of AYUSH, Mahendra Hardia has directed the department that centralised counselling should be held for the third phase at the government-level for admissions to students in BMMS, BHMS, and BMYS courses.

It effectrively means that counselling would not be held through colleges. The Professional Examination Board will hold exam for all the seats of MD Ayurvedic sanctioned by the union government in private colleges functioning under the AYUSH Department, he added.

Admission to post-graduate courses will be given by the department through counselling on the basis of the merit list to be prepared after declaration of exam results. If a college undertakes process of admission on sanctioned seats at its level violating government s provisions, it will be declared as invalid.[Source]
