G.O (Ms) No. 252/2009/H&FWD     Dated, Thiruvananthapuram,   17/7/2009  

In the special rules issued as per the Government Order read as first paper above, the staff pattern of Kerala State Homoeopathic Medical Colleges consist of four cadres, viz Tutor, Lecturer, Reader and Professor. The above special rules were issued in conformity with the guidelines issued by the Central Council of Homoeopathy, viz Homoeopathy (minimum standards of education), Regulations 1983. As per the above special rules appointed to the post of  Lecturer, Reader and Professor are by promotion and in the absent of qualified persons, it can be filled up by direct recruitment. Appointment to the post of Tutor is by direct recruitment.

Government have examined the proposal of the Principal and Controlling Officer in detail and are pleased to revive the Tutor post which were treated as abolished in Government Homoeopathic Medical Colleges with immediate effect. Sanction is also accorded for the revival of twelve posts of Tutors as detailed in para 6 of this order till amendment of special rules for Homoeopathic Medical Colleges teachers is made.

The Principal and Controlling Officer , Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram will take immediate steps to make appointments to these posts through Kerala Public Service Commission after assessing the vacancy position of Tutors afresh.
