 M.D. (HOMOEOPATHY) DEGREE EXAMINATION   Materia Medica (New Scheme)
Paper II—MATERIA MEDICA (PLANT KINGDOM SARCODES AND IMPONDERABILIA)
Three Hours                   Maximum: 100 Marks
Answer all questions.
 


I. Explain “Nosodes”. Write the name of six nosodes prepared from tuberculosis with four characteristic symptoms of each. (1+ 24 = 25 marks)

11. Write five indications of the following in bone affections
1.Silicea. 2 Natrum Silico fluorecum.
3.Calcarea carb. 4 Hecla Lava.
5.Aurum met.   (5 x 5 = 25 marks)

111. Compare and contrast the following with their five characteristic symptoms
1 Phosphoric acid and Muriatic acid in typhoid fever.
2 Stannum met and Carbon tetrachloride in worm trouble.
3 Merc.Sol and Hep.Sulph in tansellitis.
4 Plumbum met. and Causticum in paralysis.
5 Kali. Carb and Ant. Tart in pneumonia.  (5 x 5 = 25 marks)

IV.1.Make synthetic study of magnesium group of medicines with their flue characteristic symptoms.
