ENGLAND  
 Dr Quin converted to homoeopathy by Dr Necker .
 1832 - Dr Quin started his practice in London .
 1834 - He formed the British homoeopathic society .
 1843 - British journal of homoeopathy editors
         - Drysdale , Dudgeon and Hughes .
 1844 - Henderson - Edinburg school of homoeopathy.
 1850 - London homoeopathic hospital with 100 beds.
 1856 – Monthly homoeopathic review.
 1857 - There were about 200 practitioners in London .
           From Britian homoeopathy spread to its colonies.
 
CANADA
-1881 .
- No. of practitioners rose to 110 .

AUSTRALIA
1851 – Homoeopathy was introduced in Sydney and Melbourne.
1869 - Hospital in Melbourne did excellent work in typhoid fever .

NEW ZEALAND
Homoeopathy was worthily represented in cities .
  
SOUTH AFRICA
Only one professional representative with no adherents.

JAMAICA
Spanish physician Dr Navarro
 
SPAIN
1829-30 - Traces of knowledge of homoeopathy .
1833 - real beginning by 3 physicians Pinaciano ,Hortado and Querol.
Numez - Physician to Queen Isabella .
He founded Hahnemanian society of Madrid .
Periodical - Boletin and Revista Homoeopatica .
Homoeopathy got introduced into a no. of
Spanish colonies - Cuba , Puerto Rico, Canary,Philipines .
 
MEXICO  
1853 - When from Havana and Spain setteled there .
 
PORTUGAL
1839- A prof. of medicine requests permission .
Hahnemann made honorary member of medical Society.
Only old school distinction our master ever received.
1850 - Solid footing was made by Duke of Saldanha .
 
BRAZIL
1837 - Estrado
 
RUSSIA
1827 – provers of carbo veg , Dr Adam - St . Petersberg.
There were about 50 practitioners, 12 socities and hospital with 50 beds. 

DENMARK
1821 – Dr Lund and followed by Dr Hansen .
 
HOLLAND
1896 - Dr Von dem Borne and his son.
No. of practitioners grew upto 100.
Many old school specialist joined homoeopathy.
There were two socities , two journals and a  Dispensary.Very gloomy picture.
No. of practitioners fell to 30, one journal discontinued.
 
SWITZERLAND
1876 – 33 practitioners and a small hospital.
 
USA
1825 - Started with one representative.
1900 - 9,369 practitioners, 9 national socities , 34 state and 116 local societies, 70 general hospitals with 4829 beds,32 special ones with 6592 beds
20 medical schools and 400-500 alumini each year
 
 Thus there were approx. 10,000 practitioners in America and 2000 in Europe.


   ESTABLISHMENT OF HOMEOPATHY IN INDIA:

Foreign pioneers:
Dr. John Martin Honigberger – introduced homeopathy in India.
1846 – Surgeon Samuel Brooklyn – first homeopathic dispensary and hospital.
1851 – Dr. John Hunter Littler - homeopathic hospital – Father Muller of Manglore.

Indian pioneers:
Dr. Rajendra Dutt.
Mahendra Lal Sirkar – Editor of first Homeopathic Journal ‘Calcutta journal of homeopahic medicine’
Dr. P.C. Majumdar – Calcutta Homeopathic Medical College
Journal ‘Indian homeopathic review’
 
Other prominent homeopaths 
Dr.J.N.Majumdar, Dr.N.M.Choudari, Dr.A.N.Mukerji, Dr.P.Saha, Dr.B.K.Sarkar, Dr.Dewan Jai Chand, Dr.N.M.Jaisoorya, Dr.V.M.Kulkarni, Dr.L.D.Dhawale, Dr.B.Battacharya, Dr.M.C.Darwar.
Mahesh Battacharya – Pharmacopeia in Bengali and English.
