1. Aesculapius concepts in Medicine was challenged by Hahnemann. Explain the
reasons and logic behind the criticism.                                                                    15
2. Explain the different phases of development of Hindu Medicine in ancient India.   15

3. Short notes:

  • b) Doctrine of signature
  • c) Asumruthaka Pareeksha

SECTION – B
(Method of Research and Statistics)

I.What is sampling ? Explain briefly the various methods of selecting a representative sample.   15
II. Write short notes on:
1).Research & design 2) Analysis of variance.         (2×10=20 Marks)

11I.Capacity of 12 children were tested before and after a specific training. State statistically whether the training was effective for improving the memory capacity.

I. Discuss briefly the different steps involved in conducting a case control study in Homoeopathic medicine. 1 5

II.  Write short notes on

I)   Statistical averages

2)  Testing of hypothesis.   (2×10=20 Marks)

Ill. A study was conducted to find out whether a new treatment is superior to the conventional treatment and the following results were obtained. Whether the new treatment is superior to the Conventional treatment.

6.   What you mean by measures of dispersion ? Mention and explain some important measures of dispersion. (15 marks)
