About the
Author: the writer has been practicing in homoeopathy for
more than twenty years and at present; he is busy in tackling
very serious cases those are, either being referred to the big
and costly hospitals of the capital or set aside declaring them
incurable. Many a case of uterine fibroid and other growths,
malignant or benign have been cured with homoeopathic remedies.
The writer claims that homoeopathic medicines may decidedly cure
even the cancerous growths until the biopsy has been done. In
his own views, the biopsy is never favourable to the patient
because it is not a treatment, but merely a check-up against
malignancy whether it exists in the particular part or not. In
contrary, biopsy may, sometimes, become much harmful to the
patient, when the infection that create malignancy gets a way to
come out of its limited area and spread out through blood stream
into all parts of the body. According to the writer so many
patients are still alive and living a normal life, whom he
suggested not to go for biopsy before he treated them.
First and
foremost, I would like to cast some light upon the disease
‘Pernicious Anemia’. How does it come in to existence? Actually,
there are many kinds of anemia; among them the pernicious anemia
is the most dangerous and so obstinate that never comes into
trapping even through many attempts of the investigations. It
comes in to existence very steadily and goes from strength to
strength to its victim like a cunning lizard.
Gradually, it
develops and cast its adverse effects upon human body leading it
towards malignancy. This state of malignancy, in which
pernicious anemia converts in to Addison’s disease, is highly
destructive and fatal. There are no chances to survive for its
patient because the main-functioning parts of the body like
kidney, liver, spleen and so on begin to decline and destroy.
In fact, Addison’s
disease is nothing but merely a severe stage of pernicious
anemia on which Sr. Thomas Addison, a well-known doctor and
scientist, made research and investigations, hence it was known
by the name of Addison’s disease. It is a disease in which there
is a progressive destruction of the supra-renal cortex.
The case, I am
going to describe here belongs to a child, who was left aside
the outer of my clinic in his infancy, whom I owned and brought
up later on. It is neither an interesting nor a fictitious story
but a reality, a healthy subject for the wise homoeopaths to
exercise their mind more seriously, but before telling anything
else, I would like to warn the readers as well as the newcomers
and trainees in this field not to manage even a single medicine
without consulting a qualified or an experienced homoeopath in
such a serious case, otherwise, it may, likely to cause a
serious injury. That’s why; the homoeopathic treatment
completely depends upon the symptomatic features of the patient
and those should also be tallied with that of the medicine.
Case history of
the child:
Early morning of 21st July 1999, I got an infant hardly of a
day or two, wrapped in a cloth, lying outside my clinic that had
been suffering from various diseases such as hydrocephalus,
marasmus, rickets having a plum-shaped abscess on its backbone
just above and between both the buttocks since birth. It was, in
fact, an abnormal issue that appeared to be just like a skeleton
of a lifeless infant. Its sun-set like eyes, large scalp,
shaking head one side to another, cold physical structure, low
and thin voice, constant diarrhoea with whitish and watery
motions all these symptoms were too strong to prognosticate that
it was very near to death and soon would die within a day or
two.
Hence, I began to
observe the nature of all the diseases strongly entangled with
the sufferer and then intended to manage homoeopathic medicine
tallying the physical and mental symptoms of the infant with the
medicine. Though the symptoms were strongly tallied with that of
sulphur, but avoided watching a poor vitality of the infant.
The next selected
remedy was Heper Sulphur that was given to the infant in 3x
potency on 21st of July 1999, three times a day in a very little
quantity being afraid of lest it might aggravate the severity of
the disease. But the next day I got a miraculous result that the
abscess on its backbone burst with an effect of the Heper
Sulphur, I continued that medicine for two days more. The
forthcoming results were also nice. The whitish and watery
motions were almost stopped.
The infant that
was taking no feed began to suck the nipple of the milk-bottle.
Three days later i.e. since morning of 24th I managed calcarea
phos. 3x three times a day just for one week, which lessened so
many troubles of the infant concerning hydrocephalus, marasmus
and the rickets, but thin pus yellowish sometimes, bloody
secreting from the abscess remained in its former state.
Therefore, on 31st July 1999, one tablet (equal to 1 grain) of
Silicea 200x dissolving in a teaspoonful hot water was given and
afterwards no medicine was given for one week. I got a fair
result of this medicine that the pus discharging from the
abscess was too much controlled and the swelling nearby the
affected area was also diminished. Now the infant was looking
active and much improved since 7th August 1999, the patient was
given ¼ tablet of calcarea hypophos. 3x, four times a day to the
next week. And then, one tablet of Silicea 200x was given once
again deciding to wait for, more than one week.
Thus in the
duration of one month i.e. from 21st July to August 21, 1999,
all these medicines proved like a boon to the infantile physic.
Now it soon came into action, throwing its tightly, closed fists
and legs all around. It was, of course, a magical changed I
noticed at first time during my long-termed practice.
Then, I determined
to select a single remedy that might be the most powerful to
root out all the ill effects of hydrocephalus, rickets and
marasmus, which had, ever, been of the most prominent nature in
their previous stage. Therefore, after a deep thinking, I found
calcarea phos. 3x better then other ones. It was, in all views,
suitable to the infant so I decided to give this remedy singly
by a long time.
It is the most
remarkable thing to tell you that all the disastrous symptoms of
the patient had been much diminished, so I gave no other
medicine for one week and continued three doses of Calcarea
Phos.3x daily with lukewarm water. Meanwhile, the infant got
feverish, so I gave this medicine on alternation of every two
hours with Ferrum Phos. 6x and after getting rid of the fever, I
continued Calcarea Phos, singly, as usual only two times a day.
In the beginning
of third month stopping Calcarea Phos, Iodum 30 was given up to
a first half of the month daily and then on the alternate day to
the end of the month. It also left some good results on
patient’s body. During the whole month no other remedy followed
Iodum. By the end of October 1999, the infant coming out of the
infantile age appeared to be a good-looking child above the age
of six-month. After the treatment almost for three months, I
gave him a long escape from the medicines.
Actually, I wanted
to read that how long the medicines those have been given, would
be effective on the baby. In that duration, while no medicine
was given, the child remained physically fit at least by the age
of six months. He gained a normal physic and growth. No body
could say that he (the child) had ever been too serious in his
infantile age. In the starting of the ninth month of his age, he
got diarrheic again owing to teething. I gave him many a
medicine, but they resulted nothing. All my efforts were failed.
On the other hand,
constant diarrhea in a large quantity had weakened the child too
much. His eyes were half-open all the time specially while
sleeping. He had been extremely dehydrated due to short of water
in the body. Ultimately, the child reached a severe stage of
prostration and progressive anemia, because of uncontrolled
diarrhea. At first time, I felt myself despaired and helpless as
I had never felt so. Though, I was quite hopeless, in spite of
it, I concentrated all my attention at my child’s activities.
I noticed that he
appeared to be dead having no movement, no cry but restlessness
followed with a strong desire for water. Last symptom I found
was enough to select the medicine and that was Arsenic album. I
gave its 30 potency with a great confidence and got a favorable
result. Next dose was given just after 24 hours. Both the two
doses proved like the nectar to my child those brought him back
to the life. Therefore, I again suspended the medicine for a
week and waited for the need of its repetition.
Just after a week
the child became diarrheic again, but this time there were
neither plenty of motions nor strongly enforced. He got fainted,
tottered and unable to get up with out a support. How happened
it all was out the approach of our mind. Gradually, his appetite
diminished and stomach came out of the capacity. I being
frightened consulted some of well-known allopathic physician
nearby. But none of them could satisfy me. Then I carried out
all the check-ups and investigations and I found lymphocytes
abnormal i.e. more than a hundred and hemoglobin 4.6 gm/dl only.
Besides it, Hematological, Direct Coomb’s test, Abnormal
Hemoglobin Chromatographic (relating to Thalassemia) tests were
made, resulted disfavourable reports. I was much worried, tensed
and unable to decide what to do! So I got diarrheic under
influence of these disfavourable circumstances. Anyhow, I
balanced my mental state and came out in search of any positive
solution. I went, with all the reports of my child, door to door
like a beggar but every door of the doctor’s clinic had been
shut down for me. No doctor could give me a sincere advice. Now,
it was my own struggle, which I had to face it alone.
Therefore, I
carried on watching all the symptoms of my child’s disease and
got down into the depth of the study. In the duration of my
study, I came across with the doctrines of many a wise doctor
and learnt too much from them. My lost enthusiasm came back to
me and I stood erect putting my scratches aside, because they
were not needed at all.
Wise readers! My
senior and venerable doctors! In the presence of you I have got
an opportunity to pay my heartiest thankfulness to homoeopathy
and its father St. Samuel Frederick Hahnemann, whose blessings
brought my son’s life back. I am proud of Homoeopathy, I am
proud of its devotees and research scholars, who are, setting
their own happiness aside, busy in servicing the Mankind.
There is no need
to say that Bacillinum is the very remedy that gave a new life
to my son. During my investigations I considered this case as
that of the pernicious anemia, which had been changed into
Addison’s disease later on about that we have discussed above a
lot. We, generally, use a single remedy followed by none or
moreover by placebo but I had to give Bacillinum1m followed by
calcarea phos 6x once in a week and two months later it was
being given only once in a fortnight.
Thus, less than 20
doses of Bacillinum 1m, completely, cured my child. At present,
that very child is quite fit physically and mentally. Now he is
5 years old and reading in upper KG. Class. In his previous
class he got top-position. I think, all it is due to Bacillinum
that proved a boon to my son’s life. I don’t want to challenge
any particular disease, but it is sure, if a homoeopath were
very serious towards the symptomatic study of the remedy and the
patient, would definitely get success otherwise not |
