The International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), in partnership with the Department of Information Technology (DIT), Government of India, is organizing the World IT Forum (WITFOR) 2012 to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi from 16th to 18th April, 2012.

WITFOR is a unique global platform that brings together leading academics, top policymakers, corporate powerhouses and key development practitioners from a variety of fields to share and debate ideas on how advances in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are changing ordinary lives and powering development. After Lithuania, Botswana, Ethiopia and Vietnam, India is privileged to host this conference for the first time and it gives me great pleasure to invite you to be a part of it.

Discussions at WITFOR 2012 will focus on the real and potential impact of ICT on ‘Sustainable Human Development’ in four thematic areas: e-governance, agriculture, health and education. The Forum also provides an opportunity for those involved in the application of ICT for development to showcase solutions that are empowering citizens and ushering in change.

9.9 Media as the organizing partner, would be delighted to have you join us at the conference. Kindly block your calendar. For any queries, please get in touch with the IFIP WITFOR 2012 Secretariat, their contact details are given below
